I grew up on a property called ‘Quamby East’
in South East Victoria in a small country town called Woolsthorpe. Growing up our pets consisted of gold fish, butterflies, horses, cows, sheep & yabbies! I first fell in love with the Jack Russell Terrier when David (a man who worked on our farm) began bringing his two. Jack Russell’s Molly & Rex to work with him. I was instantly taken by this little dog with the soul & heart of a big dog! From a very young age I so wanted my own dog however mum claimed allergies & I was 17 before our household saw the pitter patter of tiny paws! The dogs on the farm were working dogs, not our pets! |

Early 2004 while living in Texas, I bought my first dog!
A Bull Arab named Albie. Albie went on to become a great hunting dog & has retired at home now! Almost a year later I bought my first Jack Russell Terrier, named Banjo! Banjo is not a registered purebred however spends his time out fishing, hunting in texas and teaching the new JRT puppies the manners & dog etiquette expected here at Trublumate Kennels. From there my love of the Jack Russell Terrier grew, bringing me into the showing & breeding ring! They are like chocolates to an addict... …I could not stop at one! |

Over the years that I have been showing I have met some very wonderful and interesting people. From within the show ring, across the world via the internet & some very precious pet owners, who share a common love – man’s best friend! Some of these people have become very special friends & to name a few who have helped me negotiate the ring, learn the ropes & about my breed & have provided their homes and love. These people have contributed to where I am today are, Donna & Kevin Horne, Carol Thompson and family, Gary Butler, Bob Purss, Liz Holsworth and family, Amelia Stower, Fran Kinnear, Deb Anderson & Barb & Ron Turle just to name a few! And a huge thank you must also go to Donna Horne of ‘Ouwitllemate Kennels’ for teaching me so much about the Jack Russell Terrier Breed,providing me with such lovely dogs,teaching me how to groom & handle and encouragingme to breed my own & the quality friendship – thankyou! |

A small kennel,
"Trublumate" is home to a number of quality and loveable Jack Russell Terriers! They are a breed I adore…and like chocolates, was unable to stop at owning just one!!! While I grew up loving the 'hunting' Jack Russell, it is thanks to Donna Horne of Ouwitllemate Jack Russell Terriers that I acquired my first registered Jack and was subsequently introduced to the world of 'Dog Shows' and breeding. |

The motto at 'Trublumate' is to continue the dedicationof breeders before me, while aiming to produce the best quality Jack Russell Terriers that excel in breed type and temperament. Jack Russell Terriers are a fearless, happy, alert, confident, intelligent and lively. A dog that is ready to meet the world on a moment's notice; this is the Jack Russell temperament. My Jack Russell Terriers are raised in a home environment. They are my ‘show companions’ on the weekends, my loving pets at night and occasionally have the opportunity to ‘hunt’ like they were bred for. |
